This musical odyssey is an ode to the Ancients. The rain chant, called Sacred World is recorded in the mysterious lost language of N|uu echoing the cry of Indigenous peoples all over the world and their prayer for balance to return to the planet.
The compilation was put together for the Sacred World Tour of the US in Sep/Oct 2018 oganized by a group of cultural activists and celebrities including Alice Walker (Color Purple), Zainab Salbi (Peace is an Inside Job), Peggy Dulany (Synergos) and ABC Kitchen (Deepak Chopra NY Homebase).
The album is a reflection of their diverse cultural journey as it includes a a version of the Buddhist chant, Om Mani Padme Hum, echoing in a native American style the essence of the mantra which speaks of compassion. The song, Ishqallah is a unique combination of Sufi mantras by Hazrat Inayat Khan and poetry by Khalil Gibran from his world renowned classic, The Prophet.The musical journey continues through ancient Greece as the chant Hallelujah is sung in the uplifting Gregorian chant style while Jyoti Jagalo echoes the need for universal love for all of mankind and Manmanbhava reminds us to connect to our
