If you’re feeling stressed, having trouble switching off your busy mind, dealing with some emotional issues, want to learn and experience the power of sound, conscious breathing, mantra, sacred dance and theta healing …then this is an event you should not miss. This weekend sound healing retreat will include Healing Circles, a Sound Bath, Theta healing, sacred dancing, power of mantra and live performance by Desert Rose. This retreat is for everyone. We all need healing to some degree, whether it is emotional, physical or spiritual. Sound influences all levels of ones being and when we harness the collective energy or power in the circle, for a moment in time, we can experience the unlimited through spontaneous healing.
Desert Rose has researched the impact of sound on the mind, body and spirit for 20 years and developed half day and full day workshops for the purposes of healing and raising consciousness. In 2009 they launched their first workshops using a combination of sound, mantra, breathing and theta healing and was featured on South Africa’s national television programme, The Power Within, for their holistic healing initiative. Since then they have traveled the world offering sacred sound healing sessions, workshops and retreats.
Desert Rose, widely regarded as leaders in sacred world healing music, will be doing a SA and Zimbabwe Tour in June and July 2019. Their music has been critically acclaimed as universal sacred world music with its own unique signature. “I gained insight into stillness. Learning how to relax, breathe and allow a unity of thoughts and emotions. The music was for me, the conduit that allowed me to release my inhibitions. Prior to the retreat I found high emotions to be limiting, hurtful and kind of dangerous but during last weekend, I was shown the tools of how to manage that perspective. I will continue to work on this as it has been the most liberating experience.” Nicky Elliot, Sound to Silence Participant, April 2019, Mozambique
